The Salon industry has its own unique blend of business,
creativity and evolution. Within the industry, you’ll find many passionate
people who are committed to the beauty of others. Within spas and salons, they
give their clients the ability to look and feel great about themselves. At some
point within their careers, they will think of opening their own spa or salon;
however, most hair technicians have not had the business education to do this.
Their primary cosmetology education is based on giving the best technical
service to their clients and not on running a spa or salon. Because of this 80%
of salons opening today are bankrupt within the first year of business. The
remaining salons usually struggle for the next 10 years before they achieve a
successful, profitable and stable business.
With this course of five classes, you will learn the
fundamentals of salon/spa management including the most common mistakes and how
to overcome them.
